Get to a spill as soon as it is created or as soon as you notice it.
It is a fact that the longer a spill remains on your carpet the more likely it is to create a stain.
Always blot and not rub the carpet when cleaning up a spill, rubbing the carpet with a rag can cause damage to the carpet fibers.
For water soluble spills, start with water to rinse out spill either by pouring into the spill to dilute or use a spray bottle then blot with white rag.
We recommend using Nylac or Folex as a carpet spotter if water alone does not work.
